Lawns, hedges, paths and play areas kept tidy and safe across the site.
Work planned around term time, holidays and site access to minimise disruption.
Fully insured, with clear records and photos suitable for site and compliance files.
Gutters, pressure washing, fencing and tree work handled alongside the grounds, so fewer contractors need access to the site.
The recurring work is grounds: grass cut and edged across fields, verges and frontages, hedges kept off paths and sightlines from £195, weeds treated on hard play areas and car parks from £50, and leaves cleared in autumn from £95 so paths and drains stay safe. The occasional work is exteriors: gutters cleared from £75 before the wet months, pressure washing of paths, steps and entrance areas from £125, fence and gate repairs from £95, and overhanging branches reduced from £125. A small site visit starts from £125 and a monthly grounds plan from £295. What moves the price is the acreage, how many separate areas need mowing, waste volumes and whether access is restricted to particular hours or days.
We plan grounds visits with the site manager or business manager rather than to a fixed rota. Cutting and hedge work usually happens outside lesson times, early in the day before pupils arrive or during holidays, and noisy or hard-surface cleaning is booked for holiday periods. We work Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00, so Saturday visits are an option for sites that prefer no contractors during the week. We sign in on arrival, work only in the areas agreed and keep equipment in the van or compound when it is not in use. We can provide a method statement and our insurance certificate on request, and we follow your site induction, visitor and safeguarding procedures. Tell us about parking and gate access so we can plan where the van goes.
Each visit is documented with photos and a short note of what was done and anything we noticed, such as a damaged fence section on a boundary or a blocked gully, so the site manager has a dated record for compliance files and governors. Invoices can be monthly for planned work, with reactive jobs itemised separately. We cover schools, nurseries, colleges and training sites across Chester and roughly a 45-minute radius, taking in Ellesmere Port, the Wirral and Neston, Deeside, Mold and the North Wales border, Wrexham, Frodsham, Northwich, Tarporley and out towards Warrington. Where a site already has a grounds contractor, we can take on the exterior cleaning, gutter, fencing and tree work that falls outside their scope.
We review the grounds and exteriors and agree priorities and scheduling.
Recurring grounds and exterior maintenance timed around the school calendar.
Photos and notes after each visit for your site records.

Grounds and garden maintenance, hedge and tree work, fencing, gutter clearance and exterior/pressure cleaning.
We can provide a method statement and our insurance certificate on request, and we follow your site induction, sign-in and safeguarding procedures on every visit.
Not necessarily. Some schools book seasonal or one-off work as it comes up; others prefer an agreed monthly plan with a fixed scope and price. We are happy with either and put the agreed scope in writing.
