Pavement and paving cleaning for shop fronts and public areas
The paving outside a shop, cafe, office or public building takes more punishment than any other surface on the site: footfall, chewing gum, spilt drinks, delivery trolleys, and the algae and black spot that build up on shaded flags through a wet Cheshire winter. We clean block paving, concrete flags, pattern-imprinted concrete and natural stone with pressure washing matched to the surface, pre-treating growth where it helps, treating black spot from £125 and re-sanding block paving joints from £95 where the wash has lifted them. Small areas start from £125. On public paving we cone off the section being worked on and rinse towards a drain so nobody is walking through standing water. Where the paving belongs to the council rather than the premises, we will say what we can do and what needs their permission. A whole parade can be booked at once so the finish is consistent along the frontage.
Car park cleaning and upkeep
A car park sets the tone before anyone reaches the door, and it deteriorates in predictable ways: weeds in the joints and along kerbs, moss in shaded corners, oil drips at bay ends, leaves and silt in the gullies, and grime on kerbs and bollards. Our car park work is surface cleaning and tidiness rather than civil engineering. We pressure wash bays, aisles, kerbs and entrance areas from £125, treat oil and stains where the surface allows, apply weed control from £50 so joints and edges stay clear, and clear leaves and debris from edges and drains. We do not line-mark or run sweeper vehicles; we keep the surface clean and tidy between those services and can work in sections so part of the car park stays open. Larger sites are priced by area and condition, and a quieter-period visit is usually the sensible choice.
Commercial building exterior cleaning, including listed and older buildings
Render, cladding, soffits, fascias, signage surrounds, canopies and entrances collect algae, traffic film and staining that make a building look tired long before anything needs repairing. We clean them from the ground with a pure-water pole system, which reaches high elevations without ladders resting on the gutters, and use low-pressure or softwash methods on render and painted surfaces rather than blasting them. Soffit and fascia cleaning starts from £125, render cleaning from £195 and a full exterior refresh from £295, with the confirmed price depending on height, the length of the elevations and how heavy the soiling is. For older and listed buildings, including the sandstone, brick and lime-pointed masonry common around Chester, we use the gentlest approach that works, always after a test patch on an inconspicuous area. We are not conservation specialists, so where consent might be needed we suggest checking with your conservation officer before booking.
Commercial roof cleaning, gutters, graffiti and the areas we cover
Moss on a pitched or low-rise commercial roof holds water, blocks the gutters and ends up on the paving below. We remove moss and clean roof surfaces from £350, with a biocide treatment add-on from £120 to slow regrowth, and clear the gutters from £75 at the same time so the run-off has somewhere to go. We do not take on large flat or industrial roofs. Graffiti on shutters, walls and hard surfaces is removed from £125, from £195 on a boundary wall and from £295 for a larger commercial area, with the cleaning approach tested on the surface first. We are based in Chester and cover roughly a 45-minute radius: Ellesmere Port, the Wirral, Deeside, Mold and the North Wales border, Wrexham, Frodsham, Runcorn, Northwich, Tarporley, Warrington and Crewe. We work Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00, and early-morning or quieter-period visits can be arranged for trading premises.
