Wrexham gardens carry a lot of mature trees — the older terraced streets around Rhosddu and Hightown, the leafier semis out toward Acton and Borras, and the bigger plots in villages like Gresford and Marford where sycamore, ash and conifer have had decades to get away. The ground here is heavy and clay-rich, so trees throw out wide surface roots that lift patios and edge close to drains and foundations.
