Pressure Washing in Cheshire

What we see on Cheshire pressure washing jobs

Pressure washing across Cheshire covers a lot more than the drive at the front of the house. On the farms and smallholdings between Tarporley, Nantwich and Middlewich there are concrete yards and aprons marked with diesel, tyre rubber and years of trodden-in mud; on the market-town streets of Nantwich and Frodsham there are flagged back yards and stone steps gone black and slippery in the shade; and on the estates around Crewe, Winsford and Ellesmere Port there are tarmac and block-paved drives where a family's second car leaks oil in the same spot every night. Each of those needs a different answer, and a pressure washer on its own is only part of it. Black spot lichen on stone needs its own treatment and time to work; oil and diesel need degreasing before any water goes near them; a drive that has just been cleaned will only benefit from sealing if it is sound and properly dry, which on Cheshire clay can take a few days. Our pressure washing and surface treatment work is planned around the material and the stain, and because the county is wide we route visits sensibly — a postcode and a photo of the surface are enough to start a Cheshire job.

Questions

Pressure Washing in Cheshire — FAQs

Can you clean the concrete yard at my farm — it is covered in diesel and mud?

Yes, farm and smallholding yards are regular work for us across rural Cheshire. We degrease the diesel and oil areas first, then pressure wash the mud and rubber off and rinse it down so the concrete looks like concrete again. Access for the kit and a water supply are the two things to confirm.

What is the difference between pressure washing and a surface treatment?

Pressure washing is the clean — lifting grime, algae and moss off the surface with water at the right pressure. Treatments deal with what water alone cannot: black spot lichen bonded into stone, oil soaked into block paving, or a sealer applied afterwards to slow regrowth. Most Cheshire jobs combine the two.

Will sealing stop the black spot coming back on my patio?

It slows it considerably but is not a permanent cure. After black spot treatment from £125 and a thorough clean, a sealer from £175 on dry, sound stone makes the surface far less hospitable and easier to keep clean. On a shaded, damp Cheshire patio expect some regrowth over time, just much later.

Can pressure washing damage tarmac or older concrete?

It can if it is done carelessly — too much pressure or the wrong nozzle scours tarmac and scars weathered concrete. We match the pressure to the surface and its condition, and where a surface is already breaking up we tell you before starting rather than making it look worse.

Do you cover the rural parts of Cheshire, or just the towns?

Both. Farms, cottages and converted barns across the plain are as much a part of our route as the estates in Crewe, Winsford or Ellesmere Port. Because distances add up, we plan by area, so a postcode and a photo or two of the surface let us book a day that works.

How much does pressure washing cost in Cheshire?

Guide prices start £125. Final quotes are confirmed after photos or a visit, because access, size and condition change the scope. Send photos through the instant quote for a quick steer.

Can you quote from photos?
