The job

What needed doing

A couple of fence panels had started to lean after a windy spell, and one post felt loose when pushed. The customer wanted the boundary made secure again for privacy and to keep the dog in, without paying to replace the whole run if it wasn't needed.

The boundary was upright and secure again, and the customer only paid for the post and panels that actually needed attention rather than a full replacement.

Work completed

Checked the full run and identified the one rotted post causing the lean
Removed the failed post and refitted it securely in fresh postmix
Refitted the two loose panels and checked the gate closed properly
Advised on the condition of the remaining posts and panels

Customer benefits

Restores privacy and a secure boundary
Keeps pets and children safely enclosed
Avoids paying to replace panels that are still sound

Worth dealing with early

A single rotted post can drag neighbouring panels down with it
A loose fence is far more likely to blow over in high winds
Small gaps and leaning panels let pets out and reduce privacy
