Fast-growing hedges had begun to bulge into the lawn and narrow the usable space, while long grass and untidy edges made the garden feel smaller and harder to maintain. The aim was to regain a neat shape, cut back the growth and leave a cleaner, manageable garden without removing the established screening.

The garden now feels wider, lighter and easier to use. The established hedges still provide privacy, but their cleaner lines give the lawn back its shape and make future routine maintenance more straightforward.
